1) I’m a self-shooting filmmaker who owns my own kit (C300 Mkll with prime lenses and audio).
2) I’m a fully qualified journalist.
3) I’m highly curious, and knew at age 11, that any future job would have to involve asking questions.
4) I consider the contributors in the films I make to be collaborators - not just people I point a camera at.
5) I believe our stories are among the most precious things we possess.
6) I’m interested in curating these stories in ways that will provoke thought and drive conversation.
7) I’m most interested in making films that challenge assumptions, particularly on race and class.
8) I’m also drawn to stories that reflect the absurdity of life, and the universality of the human condition.
9) In 2018 I won the Channel 4 First Cut Pitch.
10) I’m a National Film and Television School graduate, in Directing Documentary.
